A batometer is a hydrological instrument designed to take water samples at various depths.
The bathometer is one of the most important instruments for oceanographic expeditions. Thanks to this device, you can take a sample of water and examine its chemical composition, physical properties, as well as the content of inorganic or organic impurities in the water.
A bathometer is a vessel-cylinder equipped with special valves for hermetically closing the device under water at a certain depth. Valves are necessary to prevent mixing of water samples from a given depth with water from other depths when lifting the instrument.
Also, our ROV is equipped with a temperature sensor – this is the necessary information for research.
You can install the batometer instead of the manipulator, in the same place.
